I'm not sure if I will be able to make the upcoming game, but here are a few of my thoughts.
The new armor rule is interesting, i have not seen anything like it before. SO it has a uniqueness to it. and So It seems that armor would be well worth the points. (There is effort involved with wearing the hot heavy uncomfortable stuff. Making the armor ones self and added expense for materials or the cost if purchased "retail" and time investment can be fairly daunting so having some worth while advantage to spending character points is always good in my book). Are the points too high ? Well, bandaids are cheaper now. Armor only saves the wearer, where as the other skills can help anyone. It certainly sounds like it would add to the fun of combat. Especially allowing less experienced fighters a little cushion. Even as a experienced fighter you can easily make mistakes one quick slash jab or an enemy you did not see is all it takes. ??? How can an enemy wearing armor be killed? Is there or will there be a convention to "cut off his head?" Will there be a kind of stigma attached to such a grusom act? Orcs are numerous enough and having to fight the identical one over and over because he only gets bruised up may try some players patience. Same goes for the "poor orcs" that keep getting slaughtered by "that knight guy" they can not seem to kill. DM |

Yes.

It may be a skill instead of a convention, so that only certain characters (the "uncivilized ones") are adept at slitting people's throats. |
